There are plenty of bargains to be found in a rough economy, however, high-end monitors are not one of them.  NBS Cables reckons that you’ll pass up rock bottom real estate and snatch up one of their $200,000 Butter/Fly or E.V.A. speaker systems.

See NBS Cables for more info.

  1. Heard a smaller, less expensive pair of the NBS loudspeakers and must admit they’re probably the worst sounding loudspeakers ever created. I’m no speaker designer but there’s good reason why most loudspeakers look similar in some ways: they pay attention to physics and Mother Nature. These speakers could care less and they sound exactly like someone forgot they were making loudspeakers that would have be compared to other expensive loudspeakers. These are for artists. Not music lovers. Sound is so dead it’s rather pathetic how a designer expects to sell these things. Sad.
