JAY-Z SHOULD BE HONORORED TO WORK WITH THE ORIGIONAL TIP.
THE LOW END THEORY WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS !FAR AS BEATMAKIN AND TIP I DON’T KNOW .I LIKE JUST FOUND OUT WITHIN THE LAST YEAR HE EVEN MADE BEATS I KNOW THATS A CRIME BUT BUT YEAH THAT WOULD BE DOPE.
Somebody should assemble a video of all of the artist impressions that ‘Tip has done lol! The guy is hilarious and has some amazing stories to tell.
When people talk about dope ’90’s producers, the converstaions usually begins (and in some cases end) with Premo, Pete Rock and Extra P. Tip was right there with them though. Dude got mad joints in his catalog. Biggie could have used him on Life After Death but Preme was already on there and having Tip toowould have been too much like…a hip-hop album.
Off the top of my head, the 90% of the first 3 Tribe albums, Nas’s ‘One Love’, Apache’s ‘Gangsta Bitch’, Crooklyn Dodger’s “Crooklyn’ were all courtesy of Q Tip’s board skills.
Cosign what Oskamadison said about Tip not getting the recognition he deserves, he can definitely hang with those other cats, it’s just he’s too humble a dude to make a fuss about it!
One of the best. Str8 funky
