Premiering last week at The Hollywood Black Film Festival was Two Turntables And A Microphone: The Life and Death of Jam Master Jay. I’ve yet to get a peak at the flick, but judging by the description it should be pretty insightful as it features footage with notable figures such as Russell Simmons, Swizz Beatz, Jermaine Dupri, and LL Cool J. From the description, it seems as if much of the film is focused on the events surrounding his death, but hopefully they’ll find a way to cover the more positive aspects of his life.
