    • I have performed on My Trigger finger many times. and the crowd acts the same… The only time its been REALLY hype, was when I had emcees rhyming on my beats. The producer gets very little or no love. Even at Beat battles, Im on stage with some of the illest beat makers in my city…Anr the crowd seemed so confused.

  1. If your ish is wack it doesnt matter if you do it live. Araab beats is the same way, its cool to look at but hearing it is terrible.

    • Soo True! I wont call him wack though. I’m just not feeling his style…dont like the sounds he uses. He has great timing though!lol

    • Nah. MPC is hard as fuck ill admit. I gave up on that shit. But Araab shit sounded like what i already done seen on his YouTube/WSHH videos

I got Exile shit on my EVO but it sounds kinda bad. If i upload it will the sound improve?

  2. Both of these guys are talented… I would love to see a battle between Aswell and Jel… David Hanes vs. Araabmuzik that would be some shit. lol

  3. I don’t know…as a beat maker myself, this guy is unbelievable…maybe I just have grown accustomed to his style over the years but Exile blows me away every time…would love to see him live.

  4. being a good mpc player and a good beat maker are not mutually exclusive bruv. exile is both, but araab is only a good mpc plaer and average producer.

  5. Cats need to get a grip, the only reason why people on this site hate on araab is becuase his beats have more street appeal ….exile and araab are both nice…if u love hip hop for what it trully is….ART…..then that concept wouldnt b hard to unferstand

    • You dont have to like everyone or everything about hip hop…Everyone is their own man and has a right to their opinion.

  6. Peace yall…

It’s a beautiful thing to see Exile, Araab, and others doing their thing. Whether it’s super hot or not is moot. I look at it as these dudes are giving deserved credence to the Mpc being an instrument 100%. It’s one thing to loop a sample, throw some drums on top, a bassline and be done in 15 min at the crib. But it’s entirely a different story playing LIVE and using it as a full on instrument. Your timing has to be on point and you have to have a deep knowledge of the instrument to do it like they do. Props and love for taking something that is seen by most as just a sampler / sequencer and making it a full on instrument. Thats what Hip Hop is and why we love it. Turn it up!

    • Say word son!

I’m still surprised this live mpc “battle” wasn’t recorded by the Big Tune cats. Or was it? I said it before, I’ll say it again, this shit could have some X-Men vs ISP type shit.

Maybe the people who do the MPC battle, if that’s even around anymore, will wise up and make it happen.

  7. I obviously didnt get icked to battle…But I think its because I said that I would perform all of my beats live on the pads. Thats too much competition for noobs I guess..

  8. There is no doubt Exile is filthy. I think the problem here is the lack of a close perspective. You can’t see his fingers hitting the pads, switching banks, etc. as you can in other videos of him performing and thus it is hard to associate the sounds with his action. That all being said, this sonically is def not my favorite Exile live performance.

  9. Damn all cats do nowadays is hate on the artists who worked hard to get where they are today. Shame on y’all. Ex is a beast at playing his MPC live & producing excellent beats. I’m a fan of his shit & always will be.

  10. I’m not crazy about some of the sounds Exile uses sometimes, but that dude is a beast – he produced Disturbed on Blame One’s album Days Chasing Days and that’s one of my favorite tracks right now –

as a live musician and a beatmaker, my opinion is that the dude is on top of his game – super good timing and precision on his instrument, not only that, but he rocks out – hand slaps and all that on the pads – I find lots of “live” mpc performances boring cause quite often it’s just some dude standing in front of a box – at least Exile gets into it
