DJ Funktual caught up with Ski Beatz in the Dojo to discuss the producer’s history, being discovered by Mister Magic & Marley Marl, working with Original Flavor, and receiving his first record deal through DJ Clark Kent.
Later Ski talks about his music influences, meeting Jay Z, and producing Reasonable Doubt, and plays name that tune with a stack of funk and soul 45’s.
