What are these shows like? I’ve never been to one, I’ve only been digging in just regular spots.
Is it all overpriced? Worth a three hour drive?
Record shows can be a lot of fun, especially if it’s your first time attending one. Yes, for the most part records tend to be overpriced, but you can definitely come up on some good finds.
I’ve personally driven 3 hours for a lot less. I’d make the trip if you’ve got something else that you could also do for a day in Austin. Of course, a true record fiend will travel to the ends of the earth for some great vinyl.
Excellent … thanks for the heads up. As much as I love my vinyl, the way overpriced variety drives me nuts. Still sounds like I need to check it out though!
bahhh
its not that overpiced!
lots of deals to be had, if u have the patience to sift through stacks, and you are able to meet a good bit of the shop owners around town
3hours? must be from dallas right?
I’m coming from Seattle, WA. just to see how big this convention is…hope there are enough ATM’s in the area so I can keep shopping!! Really looking forward to seeing some great vinyl…
I have on my own run a head to head competition and ended up the cpa test review from Morgan to be the top solution.
