IF MY MPC 1000 BREAKS! IM GETTIN THIS
true that
Great vid…does anyone know what midi keyboard that is? I want one with at least 61 keys and a piano style keybed…and yes i’ve checked out the axiom and axiom pro. His looks sweet but (||).
Man,they are going to make me get this real soon.Where I`m from the price dropped a little and it`s looking real good to me.
Where are you from and what has the price dropped to?
Seeing how I was considering picking up an MPD32 for around $350, the initial $500 price tag isn’t too harsh, especially considering all that it does.
Check if this is still to much for you

It is funny. I told him I could not get rid of the 4000. He told me that this is better and if you love the mp you will love this. Then he said that you have to do all of that tracking.
I wonder how long it will take for Akai to release their version of this product (they have to at least have a prototype). I suspect that their decision will have a lot to do with when they’re ready to start letting go of their mpc line, and it looks like they’re going to have to make a decision soon.
What i really impresses me about Maschine is that you can sample directly into the unit. I need to try this thing.
You don’t actually sample directly into Maschine; all the audio is going directly into your computer running the corresponding Maschine software.
This seems like the perfect mix between hardware and software. If only Akai had a similar device with an MPC that connected to a computer like this.
I THINK THIS IS GREAT ! AKAI HASN’T DONE THIS YET CAUSE THEY DONT WANNA COMPETE WITH THEMSELVES . THINK ABOUT IT ‘ THEY ALREADY HAVE THE HARDWEAR WHY MAKE A SOFTWARE/HARDWEAR PROTOCOL THAT WOULD LOWER THE SALES OF A PIECE OF EQUIPTMENT THATS BEEN DOING WELL FOR OVER A DECADE ? THEY ARE MAKING THE AKAI MPK AND SO ON AND SO ON. BUT THAT WOULD BE COOL A LIGHTER HALF SOFTWARE AND HALF HARDWEAR DRUM MACKINE. MAYBE ADD SOME KEYS IN THERE AND GIVE YOU THE CHOICE TO EVEN IMPORT SOUNDS AND SAMPLE ! MAYBE EVEN PUT A RECORD PLAYER ON TOP OF IT AND CALL IT THE MPC 2 MILLION XL ! or the MPC 25 MILLION . CAUSE THATS HOW MUCH ITS GONNA COST.
sheeet i made a beat with that sample 2 years ago
@karlitodakid yeah but he’s getting paid for it
It’s cool to see people use it, but with those vids i’m always wondering how much they really like the product and how much is just publicity. Like when he’s talking about the last update and the amout of new sounds there is in it, it’s clear that there is some sort of script and that he’s not just saying what he feels about it. Too much of a demo, not enough of a review.
Still, i got it and love it. But i never had an mpc and i wonder how much different it sounds (because the mpc has the sound card).
one should always be clear that artists participating in a promotion like this are in a business relationship the company in question, so they are probably getting something in return for associating themselves with the product. i’d like to believe that all the artists participating in the maschine promotion truly believe in it, but at the end of the day, they do have a vested interest in making the product look good.
this looks really dope, but i gotta call dude out for sampling from an ipod.
iPod nano no less.
Product looks interesting but like others’ve said, I’d like to see more review and less shill.
Sampling from an iPod??? Shit is wrong…
I’m sold! Buying Maschine 2morrow
who cares where the sample came from, IMHO; Polow snatch a sample from Garage Band but a lot of people was feelin love in da club 🙂 I agree with what some are saying….Some of these videos are mad fluff….check out knocksquared and soundandgear channels on youtube for more objective advice….The unit is sweet and has enhanced my workflow, but it ain’t the end all be all, but it is sweet…I want someone to finally address and speak on the looseness of the pads in the unit…the pads feel great but the sheet the pads is on kinda shift a little in the unit…
yeah, I just got mine a couple days and will make a video of my thoughts on the product…the effin serial number has apparently already been used or something though so I’m limited to the demo version right now…laaaaaaaaaaaaame
but, I share the same sorts of thoughts on the pads…all of these videos made me think that the pads were something great and had a “nice feel.” Maybe I’m so used to my MPD24 that I can’t see what’s so “great” about these pads but I honestly don’t like them that much at all…
nah man the pads are good don’t know what u saying
