Just Blaze talks about how he started in music as a DJ, his mother singing, and father being a Jazz musician. He also talks about keeping his ear to the streets and the need for producers to unite as allies. Most interestingly, he goes into technology, working on the road, reasons for purchasing Bassline Studios, and tells all Serato haters to "shut up."

Correction: It’s Baseline Studios! Pause
all these poor ass djs clowning Serato because they are afraid of technology.
when they see a laptop hooked up to a dj set, instantly they think it’s the computer doing
the dj….? if you want a software that do the dj…..go see virtual dj.
serato is still operated like vinyl and its up to the dj to do all the work and tricks.
it’s portable and faster.
