I just sample from the internet am i horrible for doing that? i feel like it
*starts crying*
i do to…almost no one recognizes the difference
especially from a vinyl rip
yeah i know
I think someone who gets ALL their samples from the internet is bad IMO.
It annoys me when people are selling or trying to sell beats that they have made by only downloading stuff for free from blog sites and such.
The issue is not about whether you can recognize the difference or not.
Go get your hands dirty once in a while.
Internet digging? That sounds about as horrible as “mp3 crates”….though in the end it only matters what you do with your elements….there’s something respectable about owning your sounds, seeking, finding that diamond amongst Firestone Christmas records…becoming one with your favorite piece of vinyl!
That beat is nice man… sounds good for software… Anybody know what program they’re using?
“Greg Grease” (Guitar & Vox Samples + Strings) &
“O-D” (Bass & Guitar) use Logic, “PC” (Organ) was using Xpand in Pro Tools, and I was playing drums using Battery 3 and Pro Tools. The beat playing in the video is a live recording from one of our practice sessions for this weekends show.
I love that Pure Underground Hip hop sound its second to none
Sounding good. Can’t wait to play some joints!
