I guess its cos pharrell is the rhythm master and really thats what hip hop is about, not so much melodies.
Mr hugo you’re right. I get annoyed when everyone is always giving props to Pharrell. Chad does just as much as him.
Without Chad,Pharrell`s style wouldn`t be so polished. Chad cleans up Pharrell`s production as well as makes bangers of his own. they are both talented ,but wouldn`t be as big alone as they are together.

Let’s give it up for producers who use feel instead of over quantizing their beats all the time. Dilla and Neptunes are especially notorious for this feel.
I remember reading that Questlove watched Dilla make a beat, and I guess he programmed the 3 minute+ drums striaght-up. No looping. Incredible!
