Classic hip-hop goes hand in hand with classic synthesizers. The Beastie Boys were on hand to cut the ribbon on the MiniMoogseum, an eight foot high showcase dedicated to the life an work of synthesizer pioneer Bob Moog.
Check out an artist’s conceptualization of what the ultimate Moogseum should look like when finally completed in Asheville, NC in 2012.
cool, i have a Voyager Electric Blue, r.i.p bob moog hip hop would not sound right without it. (music in general)
That final Moogseum concept art looks pretty awesome, I’ll definitely be checking it out when it finally opens, but until then it’s nice to see The Beastie Boys “opening” the mini moogseum. He’ll definitely be missed, but never forgotten. RIP.
