I have been using my MPC 5000 in live performances of the artists of my lable and some friends for almost 2 years. I can say "I was the first guy playing the MPC live in Angola (Africa). Did I byte Aarab? No. I did not need to copy from anyone to do so. I didn't even know him. I think there are a lot of people around the globe who use the MPC live but have not recorded their performances (In the end it's an instrument, right?) and I believe many others in the USA mainly have done it before.
