Producer Jermaine Dupri steps inside his studio to do a little laptop digging and MPC sample chopping using material from the Ocean’s 11 soundtrack. Later Dupri moves into Kanye West’s "Amazing" for more sample re-manipulation.
Not the deepest digging for a guy with potentially endless crates, but it’s still interesting to see how JD works previously used elements into his own style.

yall givin him props like he made all the beats he got credit for…him and Puffy are 2 birds of the same feather…nothing wrong wit what they do, they no the hits and have a great talent for that, but they and actually ,aking all those hot beats
I just have to comment here, I read this blog everyday and there’s one thing I noticed not just here but everywhere in the world today. THERE ARE TO MANY HATERS!!!! Yes if you’re wasting your life hating on others your just wasting your life. Now back to the clip, JD showed something everbody should be taking from this, how he flipped that “little sound” really added life to that track and showed how the simplist of things you can overlook in a track can do so much.
I agree with VJ Kado. I learn something everytime I look at these video’s. Its no use in hating on JD, if you saw him in public, you’d be the first one in line trying to give him beat tapes, that’s why its better to learn and get your game up. When you make it, you’ll be talking about how much people hate on you everyday.
NOT HATER JUST VERY OPNIATED if they feel hes not talented whpo da fuck are u to say not? who da fuck are u?
IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANY MONEY OR ANY CREDITS YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO HATE ON THESE PEOPLE ‘ ESPECIALLY DOGGING THEM THE WAY SOME OF YOU DO. ITS COOL TO SAY YOU DONT LIKE THIS OR THAT BUT TO CALL HIM A NOT TALENTED. YOU SOUND FOOLISH TO ME.THIS GOES FOR ME YOU OR ANYONE EALSE WHO HATES THE PLAYER NOT THE GAME.STEP YOUR GAME UP LIKE IM TRYING TO DO AND LET HIM DO HIM.
y so serious?
I JUST DONT SEE HOW THEY CAN CALL A MILLIONARE NO TALENT.YOUR PROBALLY LIKE ME .MAKING 500.00 A WEEK. NONE OFF MUSIC.LOL
