DJ Muggs gives an in-studio interview to discuss Kill Devil Hills, his latest project with Ill Bill, and the process of creating an album with an artist from the ground up.
According to Muggs, the two spent roughly 10 days together going through sounds, samples, and unfinished beats before recording.
Building a record together from the ground up together as opposed to me just sending a bunch of beats created this energy on this record that is ridiculous.
Random Thought:
I’ve been fan of DJ Muggs ever for longer than I care to remember. It’s a shame that the Soul Assassins blog has resorted to scraping content directly from Crate Kings.
ISN’T KILL DEVIL HILLS IN NORTH CAROLINA ?
